SharkBite ProLock fittings are a versatile and innovative full-flow plumbing system utilizing push lock fitting technology and engineered for connection between SharkBite PE-RT, PEX or CPVC pipe and FIP pipe thread. 3/4 in. PEX, PE-RT or CPVC pipe x 1 in. MIP. The SharkBite Push-to-Connect adapter fitting intuitive design makes for one of the simplest and most dependable fittings on the market. 6 pack. No tools are required to make a connection. They use a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe when fully inserted, and an EPDM O-Ring to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal. The Twist-to-lock technology ensures maximum security. When twisted into place with indicator arrows aligned, the locking cap locks the pipe in place and creates an audible click. Removing a SharkBite fitting is just as easy with no tools needed; simply twist the cap turn counterclockwise to unlock then depress collet against the fitting to remove the pipe. ProLock fittings are suitable for hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating applications. They have been specifically designed for the Professional Plumber.
