This spade easily exceeds the BS3388 load test and features a solid forged carbon steel blade and long socket for strength and durability. The blade and socket have been finished with a hammer finish powder coat for improved protection against rust, scratches and humidity, while the hardwood shaft has been weatherproofed for durability and to extend the life of the spade. The shaft is finished with a metal MYD handle.
