About Stainless Steel Enteral Tube Feeding Syringe - 60ml

The ecoTubie enteral syringe is a 60ml stainless steel syringe, designed by tubies, for tubies! Plastic disposable syringes are bad for the environment because they're only designed to be used once. While some folks wash them out to try to get a bit more life out of them, after a few uses the rubber piston swells from food oils to the point you can't even push it into the syringe. They're just not designed to last. The ecoTubie syringe is! It's made from food-safe 304-grade stainless steel, and employs a food-safe silicon o-ring inside which will last for months and can easily be replaced (yes spare o-rings are available). The ecoTubie syringe is a cinch to use! The three rings are so much easier to operate with one hand than the fiddly tabs on the plastic syringes! It includes a tapered tip which accepts various sizes of rubber hose, a handy storage case so it can go wherever you go, and because it's stainless steel, it's 100% dishwasher-safe! There's also an ENFit tip available - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079DSVWTJ Important Usage Note: 1) Make sure you add a small amount of food oil to the o-ring before use, otherwise the plunger will be VERY hard to push! 2) We pre-lubricate the plunger with food-safe oil to ensure it's easy to operate from your first use.
