KULED Stud Finder is a easy-to-use, also a necessary tool that quickly and easily locates the edges of wood and metal studs and joists behind walls, floors, and ceilings etc. This stud finder operates by slowly slide device horizontally across wall, right of left. When full bars appears on the LCD and steady tone sounds, you have located the edge of the stud.Features:- STUD mode: detect metal and wood studs up to 0.71 inches (18mm) .- METAL mode: detect metal pipes ,rebars etc up to 3 inches (76mm) .- DEEP mode: detects wooden beams ,metal rebars up to 1.25 inches (32mm) .- AC mode: detects AC live wire up to 3 inches (76mm) . Select AC scan mode to determine position of hot wires. Begin by placing the scanner at some position away from hot wiring.- Auto power off after about 1 minutes of non-use.- Low battery indicator- Auto calibration all functions detection- Battery :1x9V battery（include）How to use 1: Press ON/OFF button to power on the device, and press RIGHT button to choose the scanning mode you want to detect. Listen "beep"to confirm the mode button effective.2: Place the device flat on wall first.
