About United Scientific SPECT01 Spectrometer With
The United Scientific SPECT01 spectrometer has a glass prism, 0 to 360 degree rotation, 0.5 degree graduations, and a double-ended 0-to-30-minute vernier with 1 minute graduations to provides hands-on experience observing and measuring spectroscopic angles, refraction, and diffraction. The 160mm diameter platform rotates 360 degrees and has a 0.5 degree enclosed graduated circle. A double-ended external 0 to 30 minute vernier has 1 minute graduations and two built-in scale-reading magnifiers. The grating and prism table has an 80mm diameter with adjustable prism and grating holders and an engraved ring pattern to ensure accurate prism placement. The collimator has a 26mm diameter and a 178mm focal length. It has a 6mm slit opening to 2mm and a 1-degree angular measurement accuracy, and is attached to the base to provide stability and accuracy. The telescope arm has a 26mm diameter achromatic optical system with a 10X eyepiece and crosshair. The unit is mounted on a base to provide stability.
