About Ceratizit XCNT Carbide Ecocut Insert, CTCP425
This Ceratizit XCNT carbide Ecocut insert has an 85-degree sp. parallelogram shape and can be used in machining applications of internal and external profiles as well as drilling applications. This grade CTCP425 carbide material withstands high speeds and is CVD coated to help maintain the cutting edge and provide heat resistance. This single-sided positive insert has two cutting edges and a 7-degree clearance angle for light cutting forces and side clearance, making it better than a negative insert for internal turning. The Type T insert surface has a through hole with a 40- to 60-degree countersink on both sides and has a chipbreaker on one side. The screw mounting style is compatible with multiple tool holders. Ceratizit manufactures cutting tools and wear parts.
