The Curaplex Nonin Onyx Vantage 9590 Finger Pulse Oximeter provides a fast, accurate, cost-effective solution for spot-checking oxygen saturation and pulse rate in pediatric and adult patients. It automatically adjusts to each patient quickly and accommodates fingers, thumbs and toes with digit thicknesses 8mm to 25.4mm (0.3" to 1.0"). The Onyx PureSAT SpO2 technology is scientifically proven to be accurate in the widest range of patients. It gives reliable results and accurate readings on challenging patients due to low perfusion or darker skin tones. It is also tested in motion. The versatile oximeter can perform 6,000 spot checks on two AAA batteries. The Pulse Oximeter has a bright LED screen so a patient’s SpO2 and pulse rate can be read from any angle, in all lighting conditions, day or night. Its 3-color pulse quality indicator allows you to provide a quick assessment of patient pulse quality. The Onyx has an automatic turn on and off mechanism to preserve its batteries. On one set of batteries, it can perform 6,000 spot checks.
