The 2 inch hitch extension can be used not only for towing a trailer, ball mount, or other towing accessory but also for mounting a bike rack or a cargo carrier. This product offers versatility and convenience for those who require extra space for their towing needs or transportation of other items. To mount the Towever 84128 drop down hitch, a front hitch is required, which should measure between 10-13 inches from the ground to the centerline of the hitch extender 2 inch. In cases where the vehicle is either too high or too low, an offset 4-inch drop/rise extension hitch will be necessary. This offset hitch extention can be attached to the Quick-Link receiver, which is mounted to the front of the vehicle, providing additional flexibility in height adjustment. Here are the installation instructions for this 2 hitch extender: 1.Before purchasing, please check the product dimensions to ensure they meet your requirements. 2.Choose between the 7" or 9" extender length as needed. 3.The 2" shank has two pin holes for adjusting the length.
