This Field References (FR) is a blend of quick reference materials and a field notebook. The material in this FR is not meant to replace the information in the Professional Citizen series of Citizen Manuals (CM). This Field Reference is not a stand-alone manual, these are a tool for you to use in the field to go with the full CM manuals. FR-1 Contains quick references and formats to assist leaders with planning and a means to take notes. Troop Leading Procedures, OPORD shell, LDA crossing sketches, and the means to write down your unit SOPs. This is NOT a field manual, it is an expanded notebook with quick reference material to assist when writing OPORDS and practicing maneuver formations in the field.
