Tools that may be needed are: putty knife, screwdriver, channel lock pliers, quarter-inch nut driver and towel. Locate the water valve at the water inlet of the washer and disconnect the water valve where it links to the water pipe. Unplug the wires from the water valve and remove the screws holding the water valve in place.
