The DHR243RMJW is also supplied with a quick change chuck. The body of the DHR243RTJW is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of the handle portion where the houses are joined with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. This unique rubber construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to the battery terminals, whereby minimising battery failures such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact. The easy to grip handle is designed to give maximum power thrust, providing a comfortable grip in any operation, whether it be overhead application, drilling with palm up or palm down. The DHR243RTJW features 3 mode operation for rotation only, rotation plus hammer and hammer only, depth gauge for increased drilling consistency and 40 angle bit positions across 360 degrees to enable chisels to be positioned at the optimum angle of operation. The DHR243RTJW is supplied with DX07 Dust Extraction System for dustless drilling applications. The DX07 Dust Extraction Unit is easily attached to the Makita DHR243RTJW with one touch, equipped with a transparent dust case and large dust box cover, featuring a depth gauge and filter cleaning dial mechanism to remove excess dust from the filter to maintain efficiency and performance. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
