The 2900POE is designed to address VoIP Quality of Service (QoS) issues with hosted and on-premise voice services for the small office. Twelve dedicated Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch ports ensure seamless quality of service for VoIP handsets with 15.4 Watts of power per port. Data routing and firewall services can also be enabled while prioritizing all voice traffic to ensure consistent audio quality. The management portal provides the ability to remotely manage multiple units and troubleshoot call issues through packet captures. The PoE switch ports can be toggled ON/OFF remotely to power cycle attached VoIP handsets. Connecting to the management portal is required to activate the annual subscription.
