About FreeUP, Temporary Support Strip For Glasses, Keeps

VISIT www.myfreeup.com for actual video and use. Freeup is a flexible and transparent strip, that's applied to the bridge of the nose. Once applied, it's very discrete and designed to keep glasses from slipping off your nose, regardless of how much you sweat or move. No more head bands or nose pads. Use it and when you're done, just throw it away! It's that simple. WHY IT WORKS Existing products try to solve the problem by requiring some form of permanent or temporary physical attachment to the glasses themselves. Along with their attachment, they also have an exterior component, which is made of made of a tacky material or soft silicone designed to provide a frictional force to rest against the skin and hold the glasses up. The inherent flaw with this design is once the user begins to sweat, the perspiration and secretion of natural body oils act as a slick surface between the skin and the tacky/silicone material. Failure occurs at this juncture, because the weight of the glasses eventually outweighs the frictional force that gets created by the contact points, as the oil and perspiration weakens it significantly. Think of scotch tape that is applied to a surface, then peeled off repeatedly. Eventually it loses it stickiness and its effectiveness. Freeup is different, in that it does not attach to the glasses. Instead, it adheres to the bridge or your nose/skin and provides direct support to your glasses at the most critical point, where all the weight is concentrated. Because it doesn't attach to the glasses, the glasses have the freedom to shift slightly so that it doesn't feel like they are cemented there. It feels natural. And when the glasses do move, the Freeup support doesn't move and detach from your skin, which is critical in maintaining their effectiveness.
