About 2" YBCO High Temp Superconductor Levitation Kit

YBCO/ ReBCO Superconducting Vortx Levitator 2" (50mm) Puck with 40x20mm Neodymium Magnet by Kalamazoo Periodics This large puck uses a thin film of high temp superconductor to float above magnets. The actual superconducting layer is thinner than the cells in your body and is then enclosed in insulation and a plastic case to keep it floating for a long time! For DIY track designed and built by you! Don't worry I will explain how and what you need with the enclose instructions. Generally you need about 50 magnets (20x10x2mm) per foot of track and a piece of sheet metal from your local home store. The disk has approximately 90 Second of levitation per liquid nitrogen charge. Included in this kit: 1 Vortx Levitator Puck 2” (50mm) 1 Pair Plastic Forceps 2 foam plastic bowls . 1 (40mm x 20mm) round disk magnet N48 strength 1 pint paint can for magnet storage (the can makes the magnet easier to handle) 1 sheet of instructions/usage info.
