About Alpha Paw Pet Ramp For Small Dogs, Large Dogs

This is the AlphaPaw Paw Ramp. The Paw Ramp helps your dog get on and off furniture while preventing injuries caused by jumping. The Paw Ramp is best for dogs that are too small to get on and off furniture, overweight dogs, elderly dogs that might be suffering from arthritis, and dogs that are predisposed to IVDD which is Intervertebral Disk Disease. Activities like jumping on and off the sofa can put a lot of strain on your dogs’ hips, backs, and joints. Additionally, accidents do happen - your dogs can land wrong resulting in broken bones, a strained back, or a slipped disk. Alpha Paw’s Paw Ramp arrives fully assembled, right out of the box - no set up required. Alpha Paw’s Paw Ramp comes in two sizes: FULL, which has (4) four adjustable heights, and LITE, which comes with (2) adjustable heights. The FULL is ideal for higher sofas or a higher bed. The LITE is best for a regular couch or sofa. Alpha Paw’s dog ramp is compactable. The pet ramp easily folds down to about 3 ½ inches and slides under your furniture. Steps to using the Paw Ramp: 1)Some dogs take longer than others to get used to a new item in their space. Leave the dog ramp out for a few hours so your pets can sniff the ramp and let your dog realize that the paw ramp is not threatening. 2)Use your dog’s favorite toy or treat to lure them up and down the ramp. A good first step is getting your pets to first put their paws on the ramp and reward with the treat. 3)Next, put the treat mid ramp to see if your pet will their full body weight on the ramp. Continue this progression (next is top of ramp) until you can put the treat on the sofa and your best pet friend makes it all the way to the top!!! 4)Now that your dog has made it up the ramp successfully, next is getting your pet to go down the ramp. When your pet is on the couch, place a treat at foot of ramp. 5)Keep repeating the process over and over until it becomes a daily habit. Remember to stay patient and consistent.
