About Mirka Roundy Dust-Free Hand Sanding Block For Use
The Mirka Roundy hand block convinces with its combination of classic sanding feel and modern extraction technology. It is particularly suitable for painting and drywall work. Here, the fine plaster, wood and paint dust is perfectly kept away from the workpiece by the extraction system. This means that you always have a clear view of the work area. In addition, by avoiding dust and dirt, sanding in sensitive residential and corporate environments is made possible. The Velcro fastening on the underside guarantees a stable hold of the abrasive. The Roundy can be used with 6" abrasives. Due to the 35 suction holes on the bottom of the sanding block, the sanding dust is optimally extracted, which prevents clumping and clogging. For optimal suction, we recommend grid abrasives and also 15-hole discs with 6" diameter. The suction valve can be manually adjusted for air regulation for reduced and increased suction. Originally designed for the painting and drywall industry, the Roundy has the ability to sand on hard to reach surfaces due to the side enclosing disc. This means that it can also be used in other areas, such as in body stores and paint stores, for example for sanding beads and edges. The Roundy Handblock is ergonomically shaped. The flat design and recesses for the fingers allow the user to work comfortably and without fatigue, even over long periods of time. This makes sanding fun again and saves time.
