About Kelo-Cote C-Section Scar Sheets
Some Mums love their CS scars, some don’t. Scars can have a significant impact on your everyday life and you may choose to improve the appearance of yours. Silicone sheets are clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of raised C-section scars. Silicone therapy is recommended by surgeons because it is proven to reduce the size, appearance and discomfort of raised scars. When to use: Kelo-Cote C-section Scar sheets should be used on clean and dry skin as soon as the wound has healed, stitches have been removed and any scabs have fallen off. Kelo-Cote C-section Scar sheets should not be used on open wounds. For good adhesion and durability, avoid applying over hair. If required, Kelo-Cote C-section Scar sheets can be cut to the correct size. Remove the protective film from the back of the sheet and apply the sheet to the scar. Gradually build up the length of application of Kelo-Cote® Scar Sheets for a minimum of 12 to a maximum of 23 hours a day. KELO-COTE® Scar Sheets should be cleaned daily with soap and lukewarm water. Allow to dry naturally and only reuse once it has completely dried. It takes at least 3-6 months for a scar to normalise Kelo-Cote C-section Scar sheets can be used as long as the scar is raised, red or causes complaints. KELO-COTE® is suitable for adults and children (3+ years).
