The elementary microscope set includes an 8" cordless microscope which has 100X, 300X, and 600X magnifications, and is suitable for use in the classroom as well as at home. This microscope features a mirror and battery-operated lamp (which requires 1 button battery CR2032- included) as well as a unique tilting feature which allows the user to adjust the microscope to use the available light source. This unique tilting feature along with the battery operated lamp allows the microscope to be tilted 180° and then used as a projector (for use in a darkened room). This complete set also includes blank and prepared slides, slide covers, blank labels, collecting vials, stirring rod, tweezers, 3x to 6x magnifier, and a user manual.
