The MMS-4 multiple purpose throatless sheet metal shear can cut through mild steel, aluminum, brass and stainless steel with very little effort. Long handle provides maximum leverage for the toughest cuts and heavy duty cast iron base ensures stability. Although it weights only 18 pounds, the cutting capacity is 14 gauge mild steel and 18 gauge stainless steel.  One benefit of this metal shear is the cast-iron base design, which guides the material away from the blade allowing the operator to keep cutting without having to trim, saving a lot of production time.
