(PLEASE NOTE THIS FEEDER IS NOT DESIGNED FOR ANY BIRDS LARGER THAN A HYACINTH MACAW, AS THE BIRD ACTUALLY GETS INTO THE FEEDER TO EAT!) This Feeder is designed for (but not limited to): Scarlet Macaw Blue & Gold Macaw Hyacinth Macaw Cockatoo and many more similar sized birds. You can hang the feeder inside or outside of the cage, depending on which pre-drilled set of holes you insert the provided hooks (Please do not over-tighten the hooks when screwing them into your feeder, they will break off !). The food stays mainly inside the feeder since your Bird(s) stands inside on the acrylic perch when eating. (OUR ACRYLIC PERCH IS MORE DURABLE AND MORE SANITARY THAN THE OTHER WOOD PERCHES !) Less wasted and soiled seeds and less clean-up on your floors.
