Review As a retired Professional Athlete, I experienced all of these emotions and feelings! I wish that I had this book to rely on when I was going through my toughest challenges. As stated in the book, we sometimes feel weak or soft when we seek help, but really, it's the opposite! We are weak when we don't seek help! Through the Grace of God, he has provided the help we need through Tyrone and his birthing of Parlay! ~ Andra Davis Andra Davis - Former NFL Player (Browns, Broncos, Bills) In Christian circles, mental wellness has often been overlooked. Tyrone Crawford has done an excellent job at showing the importance of being a whole human being by finding synergy between your mind, body and spirit.  One of the most important byproducts of turning stress into mental resilience is hope.  Our current stress doesn't have to hinder us but it can propel us forward into a more healthy view of our purpose. That alone makes this book worth the read! ~ Derek Minor - Grammy, Steller, & Dove award winning Recording Artist About the Author Tyrone Crawford's story is a mix of struggle, unforgiveness, anxiety, passion, faith, fear, love, doubt, reconciliation, and spiritual transformation. The Cleveland, Ohio native is a National Christian Recording Artist, member of the United States Air Force, father, husband, and a mental health advocate. As an artist and mental health advocate, his hit song "Hope" Ft. Darmea, was not only a huge success, but was credited for preventing at least two suicides. Despite Tyrone's current success, he did not always see the light at the end of the tunnel; in fact, he didn't even believe he'd live to see his 21st birthday. Growing up in inner-city Cleveland wasn't easy and came with its challenges, leading Tyrone down a road of self-destruction. However, in a life-altering event, that all changed for him. At the age of 18, his life was forever changed after attending an event at church. In April of 2004, he gave his life to Christ, and prison was no longer in his near future. He was a new man, on a new and better path. A year later, he met his wife, Bridget Crawford, author of the highly recognized book "Redeeming Grace." Together, they have two children, Kyira and Isaiah Crawford. Shortly after meeting his wife, he joined the United States Air Force. Despite graduating high school with a 2.2gpa and enduring a rough childhood with no hope of making it out the hood, he succeeded by the grace of God. He now has 2 Associates degrees, a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, and multiple computer certifications. As a Sergeant in the military, he has traveled worldwide to include places such as Afghanistan, Kuwait, Africa, and Honduras, which has given him experience in managing his mental health. He is now a highly decorated Noncommissioned Officer who has mentored thousands on overcoming tough times and improving their mental health.
