In the past, it was considered sacred and it was contained in several medicines. This ethnical and multicultural product is nowadays available all over the world. The seeds are very rich in oil, which are mainly composed by polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. To obtain toasted sesame oil, we start by toasting seeds with steam and after the cooldown we continue with the cold pressed process which allows to obtain a very fluid deep brown color with an excellent toasted flavor, typical of oriental cuisine. It can be used in salad, vegetable in general, grilled meat, deep frying, soups and for the preparation of oven products.
