HMS Hood was the last battlecruiser built for the Royal Navy, commissioned in 1920 she was named after the 18th-century Admiral Samuel Hood. As one of the largest and ostensibly, the most powerful warships in the world, Hood was the pride of the Royal Navy and carrying immense prestige was known as ‘The Mighty Hood’. Kit features 1-piece full hull with exterior detail, engraved deck plank texture, detailed (upper works, superstructure and full weapons suite), fine deck fittings, highly detailed ships boats and cranes, radar and antenna, chain for anchor, metal gun barrels, filigree masts and yardarms, name plate and display stand, extensive photoetch parts (for all on deck equipment and other accents). 3-view color painting guide and decals for hull markings and ensign.
