A low-cut, durable upper with speed lacing supports your feet on uneven ground, while a Continental Rubber outsole sticks to wet and dry terrain. A breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet dry every step of the way. GORE-TEX Upper Ripstop mesh uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. TPU overlays swathe the foot to improve support plus durability, resisting the traumas of rough ground and coarse wilderness, while a moulded TPU toe cap reinforces the Terrex Swift R2's trail-worthy state by defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards.
