About Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC Table Tennis Blade
The Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC blade provides the perfect mix of speed, spin, power and feel for balanced topspin play. ALC plies are a popular choice for offensive players due to their well-established and consistent playing properties; compared to blades that only use wood plies, blades with Arylate-Carbon are more flexible, more powerful, have less vibration, and have bigger sweets spots. Another advantage of the Arylate is the increased dwell time, maximizing spin potential and control. Current Butterfly sponsored players that use the Zhang Jike ALC are Bastian Steger (Germany) and Gustavo Tsuboi (Brazil), both of whom use Tenergy 05 on both sides. Within the Tenergy line of rubber, Tenergy 05 has a high arc and short travel path across the table. Tenergy 80 is has the second lowest arc, with the ball landing mid-distance on the table. Tenergy 64 has the lowest trajectory and longest trajectory, landing closer to the end of the table. To add more grip to this blade, you can get the Soft Grip Tape, providing grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice to extend the longevity of your racket is adding side tape to the blade, protecting the wood in the event it is hit on the table.
