This Five Oceans flexible PVC cowl is a great way to complement solar or 12V ventilating systems. The soft, flexible PVC cowl is safer than metal or other types of rigid vent. Due to their flexible nature, these vents deform if accidentally stepped on and then spring back to shape. In addition, there is no need to worry about your jib sheet catching on the vent; therefore removing them before sailing is not needed.While the boat is not in use, its recommended vents are removed to protect them from the sun's rays.
