Our rugged Original Cool Vest with wear-resistant Banox FR3 fabric is designed for use in the harsh environments of the oil, gas or chemical industries. Made with extremely durable FR3 Flame Retardant Banox fabric, this cooling vest will help keep you cool, comfortable and safe in the face of the exact opposite.The eight cooling packs included with this vest feature horizontal cells that conform to your torso as you bend and stretch. The redesigned packs come in two sizes: 10.3 ounces and 7 ounces. For maximum cooling, insert a large and a small cooling pack into each inside pocket of your vest. For less demanding conditions, you may lighten the vest by using a single large pack in each pocket. Powered by PureTemp biobased phase change material, the packs can be recharged in just 20 minutes in ice and water. They may also be recharged in a refrigerator or freezer, basically anything colder than 59° F.SIZING: The Banox cooling vest is designed for adults. It weighs about 5.5 pounds, including cooling packs, and will fit chest sizes between 29 inches and 52 inches.NOTE: Banox is a trademark of ITEX Corp. for its flame retardant fabric that meets NFPA70E Category 2.
