The 5' Big Betsy shape provides for a fun, stable, and smooth glide. Can it surf? Yes...and it hauls. The Big Betsy has a custom shaved channel on the bottom deck for added performance in turns. Fingerprint Custom Texture Top Deck + Real Bamboo layers protected with a heavy duty slick hdpe plastic bottom deck with FCSII Fin Boxes. HIGH PERFORMANCE FEATURES - CNC Machined, Hand tapered rails to allow board's edge to cut through the face of the wave as you fly down the line. Blunt Nose and Tail with a flat bottom deck and hand shaved channel to maintain high speeds and get a little extra boost in your turns. Fingerprint Texture in the foam on the top deck = no wax needed! DURABILITY - Our 5' Big Betsy is incredibly strong in large part to the I-Beam Stringer and our Bamboo Layers. The I-Beam Stringer covers the full length as well as the bamboo layers providing for a rigid deck with slight flex. EPS CLOSED CELL Foam Core = will not take on water like a sponge.
