The product is especially compatible with Woodford frost free hydrants and is an excellent hydrant lock. The Hydra Secure locking collar can be used with a variety of different pad locks. For maximum security, we recommend the Master Lock Model 6127LJ. This lock performs very well under harsh weather conditions and has a very thick shackle that still fits nicely with the Hydra Secure. However, this model can be more expensive and sometimes more robust than what is needed. If you do not need the absolute maximum security level, other models including Master Lock 175DLH and Master Lock 1175LHSS All Weather Combination Padlock are also compatible with the Hydra Secure Locking Collar.
