Ryan Streber, well known as engineer and owner of the pivotal NY area recording studio Oktaven Audio, releases his debut full length recording of his compositions, featuring a selection of some of the most active performers in the city's contemporary music scene: counter)induction, violinist Miranda Cuckson, guitarist Daniel Lippel, violist Nadia Sirota, and the Line C3 Percussion Quartet. Streber studied with the late Milton Babbitt, and while his music reflects his mentor's style, it draws on a wide range of sonic and formal influences.
