Amazon.com Waters never managed to build on the crossover success of her first single, "Gypsy Woman," though her efforts this time around suggest she's still up to the challenge. The sing-song, nursery rhyme-patterned "Mamma Told Me" is a catchy tune, and the lingering buzz in the clubs from her Dennis Rodman collaboration "Just a Freak" (included here) could be extended to "Body Music." A too-literal cover of Prince's "Uptown" isn't a high point, but her NBA At 50 anthem "Say ... If You Feel Alright" is a blast. --Jeff Bateman
