This CD is autobiographical in nature. Here are a few brief explanations about each song! The Battle Ahead is the intro to the album. It sets the stage by showing the conflict in this man's life. The bad weather, guns, bombs at a distance and the closing sound of the motorcycle leaving in a hurry are all to signify a fast paced lifestyle. Tell Me What I Need - This song is about a man who is searching for real satisfaction in life, but can't find it. Then, the choir of singers explains that he needs Jesus! Golgotha - The gospel in a song. Sinner - After hearing the gospel and realizing that he can't find happiness on his own, he cries out to God for forgiveness. Please Receive Me Too - The simple act of sitting down and asking God for forgiveness and to receive him to Himself. Hills & Valleys - An instrumental showing Christian life. Sometimes a mountain top experience and sometimes a valley experience. Friendly Fire - An epic about how during our Christian walk we are all too often wounded by friendly fire. This song is about how we should keep to the task at hand (the gospel) and watch out for our fellow soldiers in the ministry. Walkin' With The Lord - This song is about the joy of getting close to the Lord and relying on Him day by day. Abba Abba - Realizing the price that was paid for our forgiveness and looking forward to the time when we will be with Him. Your Love Is Amazing - When we try to walk with Him there are times when we stumble. We notice that if we will just reach out to Him during those times He will catch us and put us back on track. Shoreline- True peace can be found in Him! The contrast between this song and the first song on the album is obvious. That contrast is made possible through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
