For The Great Depression, Blindside teamed up again with Lasse "Lars" Marten, who produced the band's landmark debut, and recorded the album at Decibel Studios in Stockholm. As with every Blindside release, The Great Depression shows the bands growth as musicians, songwriters and people. Songs like the powerful 'Yem Kellar' were born out of singer/lyricist Christian Lindskog's six week stay in South Africa.
