About Native American Herbal Apothecary: 3 BOOKS IN 1 | A

Product Description Taking great inspiration from my deep Kootenay roots on my father's side, I'm a writer with an unbridled passion for exploring the powerful restorative and empowering nature of natural medicines that the Kootenay people have relied upon for generations. Passed down orally and in writing, I was gifted with the knowledge of my ancestors by my father as a young girl. So I decided to pass on to the world the knowledge passed down from generation to generation in my family. The ancient people had their own remedies and treatments that enabled them to live healthy lives. Modern medicine has its benefits, but if you want to try a more natural approach towards health and wellness, then this book is for you. Here's what you'll find in this collection of 3 books: How to Incorporate Native American Medicine in Our Modern Lives The Role of Native American Healing Traditions in Allopathic Medicine Story of Herbs Different Herbal Healing Systems Herbal Preparations How to Search Herbs Encyclopedia of Herbs, with a Complete List of Medicinal Herbs and Their Properties A Guide to Herbal Remedies and Recipes This book explores the healing traditions of the Native Americans, traditions and practices curated carefully over hundreds of years, passed down to generations, who are still keeping them alive today. So, discover the divine concept of sacred medicine, the one that my ancestor have been following for centuries, and how to use herbs to cure afflictions and feel better! It's so sad that we have come to rely on modern medicine for everything; while modern medicine is great, there is nothing like treating and preventing disease with herbs and natural cures when you can. This book is a great primer for treatments of some basic diseases and aches and pains with plants. It's a great read  - Customer Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   Interesting This book shows you the ways Native American elders have treated various illnesses and issues. I think, even if you don't believe herbs and plants can heal, this book will open your mind to at least considering this time tested wisdom - Customer Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   A world of knowledge A modern guide to Native American apothecary reads like a manua. A very informative manualThe amount of information author put into this book us exponential. And the "index" that is used to categorize all of the plants/herbs usd is phenomenal. For amount of content and how useful it is, bookgets 5 stars - Customer Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   Excellent guide of Native wisdom This book does a really good job explaining Native American herbal medicine and the connection they see between human, spirit and nature. It is fundamental to understand this connection in order to truly see any benefits from this holistic medicine approach. I liked the way that the book explained common practices (like smudging) and medicinal herbs, plants, roots, etc. The author writes very clearly and succinctly. This keeps the reader's focus on the subject matter. I did take one star off because it would be nice to have pictures of these plants. For example, a photo of what echinacea looks like would help. I did however really appreciate the final section of the book.
