He has authored many books on snakes and reptiles.Abhijit Das received his PhD from Utkal University, Orissa and is a Scientist with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. His research area includes the taxonomy, systematics and conservation biology of Indian reptiles and amphibians.
