Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Try the fiber fueled diet approach I have been on a journey of learning to eat healthier and trying different methods. This book caught my attention because just recently my doctor mentioned to me to make sure I am getting enough fiber in my diet. I love that the fiber approach to eating is plant based, high in fiber, healthy for your gut, and can help you lose weight. This sounds perfect to me. It was good to read about the different types of fibers and familiarize myself with them again in order to fully understand them. Eating plant based can help you get a rich array of flavors and textures in your diet. Fiber fueled recipes are great for helping your gut. With the fiber fueled approach to eating you focus on eating the rainbow to ensure you get all your nutrients and vitamins. The book covers a lot of topics that are good to know such as the effects of eating gluten, why each color of the rainbow is important, why eating plant based can be so good for you, and much more. There are 1000 days worth of recipes and this is a book that I will definitely be referring to often. So, I thought this was good place to start. This book is based on the premise that fiber promotes great gut bacteria that our body needs to work in tip top shape. In this way we can perhaps lose weight, better our overall health, and keep our digestive system running smoothly. This book opens by explaining what the fiber fuel diet is and how it works; also, the intro sections look at benefits you may see if you follow the plan. Then we get into the recipes. The recipes are divided by meal type (i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, etc). This really made sense as a way to organize the recipes. I personally appreciated that the majority of the breakfast recipes were smoothie recipes. That is my favorite type of breakfast, so I will get a lot of use there.
