This is a must get resource for any Florida Algebra 1 teacher!! It's a student workbook with hundreds of problems carefully aligned to Florida's B.E.S.T. mathematical standards. Each section within the workbook has an accompanied instructional video that students can use to learn, found on jupitermath.org. The units are: Unit 1: Exponents and Radicals Unit 2: Polynomials Unit 3: Solving Equations and Systems Unit 4: Linear Functions Part 1 Unit 5: Linear Functions Part 2 Unit 6: Linear Inequalities Unit 7: Factoring Polynomials Unit 8: Solving Quadratics and Standard Form Unit 9: Quadratic Functions Unit 10: Absolute Value Equations and Functions Unit 11: Exponential Functions Unit 12: Numerical Data Unit 13: Categorical Data Unit 14: Summary of Functions It will be tough to find any material more aligned to the Florida B.E.S.T. standards than this!! It was built from the ground up with careful analysis of the Florida Department of Education's B.E.S.T Instructional Guide (B1G-M). Being a current High School teacher myself (in Palm Beach County), I know it can be exhausting finding/creating quality aligned material for students. This is here to help!!!!
