Hey folks. So although I would like to be able to keep on making this title only available privately, due to changes beyond my control, it's either make it available publicly or not at all. I'll still continue to hand number copies sold directly through my website and on eBay, as well as find a Schwinn stamp for the inside cover or some such. Publicly available copies through Kindle / Amazon will be available after September 12, 2018. Just for future reference. Anyway. This book, Sting-Rays and Muscle Bikes of the 1960s and 1970s, is a pretty decent guide to American muscle bikes from all the major makers, and many of the major distributors. AMF, Huffy, Columbia, Iverson, Murray, Schwinn, Ross, Rollfast, likely more, but I'm working from memory here. Also covers models made specifically for Sears, Penneys, Monty Wards, Western Auto (Western Flyer). Scans from original catalogs and advertisements, with explanation and commentary. Fairly comprehensive section on Schwinn Sting-Rays and related models. Krate series, Fastback, Slik Chik, Fair Lady, Junior, Midget, Mini-Twinn. It's the best way to learn all about these awesome bikes. Knowledge is power. Collect smarter so you can collect harder.
