About the Author Sam Sciullo Jr. is a University of Pittsburgh graduate who served for seven years as a member of the school's sports information office. He has edited award-winning football media guides at both Pitt and Texas A&M, written for Touchdown Illustrated, Pitt Magazine, and the Pittsburgh Pirates' On Deck Magazine, and been the editor of Inside Panthers Sports Magazine. He witnessed his first Pitt football game in 1965 when he was six years old and saw his first Panthers basketball contest a year later. This is his fourth book.
