Shag Moss is air dried, which renders it dormant with out killing it and packaged in a protective reuseable plastic tray. ShagMoss is harvested in sheets which when rehydrated, resumes its original shape and suppleness. ShagMoss receives its name because of the "Shag" carpet like structure of its filaments. It may be used to decorate any moist humid environment. It assists in providing the proper substrate for sensitive amphibians and reptiles.
