Requirements: For your network 1. The WiFi for this camera must be 2.4Ghz band 2. If your WiFi is 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz dual band, please make the name (SSID) of the 5Ghz network different from that of the 2.4Ghz network 3. The name and password of the 2.4Ghz WiFi should not contain special character 4. The WiFi name should NOT be hidden For the camera 1. It needs to be plugged in to work 2. It must be installed within WiFi distance For yourself You should know how to set the name and password of your WiFi How to connect the camera to the network 1. Make sure the WiFi meet the above requirements 2. Connect your phone to your 2.4Ghz WiFi 3. Download the specified App on your Phone, sign up by an email address. Don't forget to agree to the agreement then click the "Next" button 4. Open the App, click + then choose [Smart wireless mode] 5. Power on the camera within WiFi distance. Reset it and wait until the red indicator blinks. Tap[Next] 6. Follow the instructions in the App. The App will take some time to connect the camera to the network via sound wave Why is the image delayed /black or the camera offline? Please make sure the camera is within WiFi distance & your WiFi is not a slow network. About Permissions & Security 1. With location information, it will assign you a server closer to you for smoother monitoring images 2. It accesses photos so you can store and view photos/records on your phone 3. The monitoring image is transferred in P2P mode and won't be stored on any server
