This 1821 British Light Cavalry Sword has a blade forged from EN45 high carbon steel; the hilt is crafted from steel and the wooden grip is overlaid in black leather and finished with inlaid twisted steel wire. The black felt tab fitted atop the guard at the base of the blade can be removed. The scabbard with hanging rings are of steel.
