About Stainless Steel Taps - Maple Sap Bag/Bucket Spiles
Making Maple Syrup is a fantastic family tradition for a time of year (early spring) that does not usually have many outdoor activities. Buckets and bag holders are hung over the 11/16" diameter washer. The drip groove on the front edge prevents the sap from bleeding back. This tap will hold the full bag weight without sagging, and it is virtually unbreakable. A slight twist with a pliers removes the spile from the tree at the season's end and they can be boiled and sterilized year after year. MANUFACTURED IN THE USA
