This is a k-type thermocouple wire with yellow braided fiberglass insulation, and color coded inner fiberglass insulation, which is good up to about 400 C Celsius or 752 F Fahrenheit. This durable k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard thermocouple specifications. This is a 110 yd (33 ft) spool, other lengths are available (10 yd, 50 yd and 220 yd)
