Product Description Ghost in the Reflection-Letters to Erin began originally as two smaller collections that eventually merged into just the one. The first half, Ghost in the Reflection is a collection of poetry mostly in 3rd person narrative painting a picture describing the decline of society, morals and values as seen through the eyes of others and the self. Meanwhile, the second half, Letters to Erin, is a mostly first-person narrative that displays these declines of morals and values as the thorns they have become in the present day traditional relationship, which is the core of any society. It examines the hurt, the struggle, the deceit, betrayal, and the disappointments that arrive in such an arrangement. We can find every darker aspect of this decline represented inside the shadows of these brutal wounds decorated with the harshness of unfiltered truth. This collection contains mature topics and adult language not suitable for a younger audience. From the Author Thank you for your purchase of Ghostin the Reflection: Letters to Erin. This manuscript is two shorterchapbooks combined into this one collection. Because the themes were eerilysimilar except for being told through different point of views, it only feltright that they took their first steps into this world together. We are sittingupon the wall waiting as the world has taken its downward spiral. The Self hasbecome deemed more worthy than the collective being, and we await from thesidelines for the whole shit and shebang to crash and burn, all secretly hopingthat we may escape and survive. Unfortunately, no one here gets out alive. Ghostin the Reflection is a collection of observations of a world that byday becomes less the par as told in a 3rd Person narrative. Avariety of voices tell their stories, outlining a decline in morals, valuesand/or society in general. These footprints follow the voices and observationsof writers many generations before us. Lettersto Erin is a collection of poetry seen through the lens of arelationship. It documents the highs and the lows and the daily battles betweenlove and hate, against the backdrop of society's decaying morality. A strongemphasis is placed by the poet on the content as follows: this collectioncontains strong language and imagery that may not be acceptable for youngeraudiences or the weaker of heart. This is a work of opinion, which may mean theseviews and opinions differ from your own. You have the right to close the coverand walk away but criticize only the difference of opinion and not the qualityof the message. This content was chosen because the need for it to be addressedexists, not because it was a pretty subject. Truly, I hopemy words to be understood. If these words can touch the life and address theillness of one person's life, the world has been made a better place. We cannotbecome well without that prescribed medicine when we are sickened with such amajor illness. We can onlyraise our children to be better than we are, and to treat people better than wehave treated ourselves. We should not be transferring our own frustrations ontothe younger generations. Their learning is our responsibility alone. These subjects may be difficult,but if we only seek that which is simple and easy, society will continue toregress. We cannot be considered intelligent because of our technologicaladvancements alone. History has proven what has been done can be undone when thetime has come and rests before the one who sits upon that celestial throne,permitted and empowered to freely arrive at such a decision.
