The Klein IR2000 12:1 Dual Laser Infrared Thermometer features dual lasers that specifically target the area of measurement, thus eliminating the "guess work" of single laser's average area of measurement. Dual lasers measure between the two laser points creating an accurate, specific target area. The IR2000 has a 12:1 distance to spot ratio. This means that if you are 12 feet away from an object, the object should be 1 foot or less in diameter in order to resolve the most accurate measurement. The 6.76-Inch high by 1.87-Inch wide thermometer features a wide measurement of -76 to 1022-Degree Fahrenheit and a K-type thermocouple input. The backlit display and work light provide easy view ability in any lighting condition. The IR2000 comes with two (2) AAA batteries and has an auto shut off to maximize thermometer life.
