Meatsitter is a Bluetooth wireless temperature monitoring device that's compatible with any industry standard mini K thermocouple cable and lets you monitor the temperature of anything you want (beyond food). Don't limit yourself using a probe that isn't suitable for your needs -- you can use a mini K probe that's suited for air, direct connect for instant reading, needle/immersion for your oven, BBQ, smoker, or brewing beer. You won't be disappointed with such versatility! Meatsitter has dual probe +-1.5 degree accuracy fast reading and dual mode power supply using either 2 AA batteries or a mini USB to type A cable using your phone power adapter rated 5.5 V. Although 2 AA batteries will give you 25 days of 24/7 monitoring time you can switch to wall outlet without removing your battery. Save 20+ dollars per year on batteries. The device is protected with a silicon cover to provide not only comfortable and anti-slip grip, but also protection from drop impact. Work in conjunction a with mobile application available for iPhone and Android with Meatsitter's very intuitive dual gauge graphical user interface. Primary gauge includes a temperature scale with two alarm points for low and target temperature set using USDA preset temperature setting for 9 types of meat and their various doneness levels recommended by USDA. All of the preset temps including the low preset can be set to assist your cooking strategy. Use the low preset to flip your food. This can be done by the user touching the screen and setting a low temperature alarm point and a high temperature alarm point on the scale. Touch feedback is used to set the primary and/or secondary temperature alarm and a semi-circle overlay on top of the gauge allows the user to drag a cursor to interact with each temperature alarm in real-time even after they have been set.
