About WELD-ON 80100 Soft Seal Stain-Free Plumber's Putty

Easily seal and lubricate piping systems with Weld-On All Seal Multipurpose Pipe Thread Sealant. Ideal for gas, plumbing, and water applications, this grit-free pipe sealant is designed to fill even the smallest cracks and micro-voids in pipe threads. The result is a leak-free, pressure-tight joint that can withstand the demands of various piping systems--including systems carrying air and gas, corrosives, freons, fuel, oils, petroleum, propane, solvent, steam, sugar, or water. Formulated for versatility, this pipe thread sealant works with all metal and plastic pipes, including PVC, CPVC, ABS, polypropylene, and nylon). It also double-functions as a lubricant to enable easy disassembly without stripping threads. And thanks to its very low VOC content of 152 grams per liter, it helps promote a better working environment for pipe installers. This pipe thread sealant is not recommended for oxygen, fluorine, or liquid sodium systems.
