Off-road style, heavy-duty 20A rating, and weatherproof boots make the metal toggle switch a best-seller QUICK INSTALLATION1. The metal toggle switch has a threaded body and removable nut that allows for quick through-panel mounting. 2. Simply tighten the nut overtop the face plate and/or name plate. 3. Connect up to four loads to terminals #1, #3, #4, and #6. (see wiring diagram in photo gallery). Make sure to ground your loads.4. Connect your power source positive to the unused screw terminal #2 (which powers terminals #1 and #3) and screw terminal #5 (which powers terminals #4 and #6). Ground the negative.5. This DPDT On/Off/On switch cannot physically power all loads simultaneously. Toggle to the ON position to power loads #3 and #6 and toggle to the other ON position to power loads #1 and #4.Reverse PMDC Motor Operation1. To power a 12vDC permanent magnet (PMDC) motor with reverse control capability, start by connecting short jumpers between terminals #1 and #6, and between terminals #3 and #4 (see wiring diagram).2. Connect your motor to terminals #3 and #6, using a relay if needed.3. Connect your power source positive to terminal #2 and your negative to terminal #5. 4. Toggle to the ON position to drive the motor forward, and toggle to the other ON position to reverse the motor direction.
