How to Use the Tofu Press? 1. Separate the two plates and place a block of firm tofu on the rectangle area of the bottom plate which is the center of the Tofu Press. 2. Use the screws to apply pressure, simply twist on and fasten the lid to apply pressure. 3. Place the tofu press by the edge of your sink or on a plate to allow the extra liquid to drain away.Place the tofu press on its side for more effective water removal. 4. Tighten the press every 2 to 4 minutes for a total of 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the size tofu. 5. Once all the liquid is removed, reverse the knobs or the mechanism of the lid and slide out the tofu block. 6. Toss the tofu press into the dishwasher (no disassemble required!) and clean it quickly and easily so it’s ready for the next use.
